Attorney Eric P. Smith

A Lilly Scholar, Mr. Smith obtained his undergraduate degree from Wabash College, located in Crawfordsville, Indiana, in 1993. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University in 1996.

Admitted to practice in the state of New York, Mr. Smith has been with the firm known as Nicholas, Perot, Smith, Welch & Smith for over 15 years. In 2003, he was made partner, and in 2006, was made managing partner of the Rochester offices.

From his offices located in Rochester, NY, and Liverpool, NY, Mr. Smith concentrates his practice on personal injury and criminal defense. As a member of Nicholas, Perot, Smith, Welch & Smith, he represents clients in the counties encompassing the Central New York area.

He represents clients for serious injuries sustained in accidents, including, but not limited to, motor vehicle, product liability, premises liability, and general negligence. In criminal law, Mr. Smith defends clients for a wide range of criminal, vehicle, and traffic charges. He also represents clients for Social Security matters and considers taking clients in other areas of law.

He maintains a large, high-volume practice built upon a large referral base, and has been a member of the Onondaga County Bar Association since 1998.

Mr. Smith competes in long distance swimming, running, as well as triathlons. He is also a musician, enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his family.
